24 Sep Black Entrepreneur Week
We had a brilliant time at the 3rd Annual Black Entrepreneurship Week in Raleigh last week at the Raleigh Convention Center. It was a full week of thought-provoking talks, panels, and community building events that spur innovation and promote entrepreneurship.
Behind the scenes of Black Entrepreneurship Week, 15 African-American entrepreneurs participated in a 6-day Bootcamp led by Karriem Kanston of Kanston Development. Participants learned how to start, grow and pitch their business during an accelerated business school experience culminating in an opportunity to pitch for up to $3,000 in cash. All participants won a free year membership to the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce.
